Fairy Door

Fairy door folklore: Fairies are known to sprinkle fairy dust along your path if you place a penny by their front door. Lucky garden prop.

This fairy door is hand made in my home studio out of ceramic slip. Each ceramic is hand poured into a ceramic mold, dried, cleaned and fired in the kiln. Once in bisque-form I apply acrylic paint to my ceramics and seal them with a clear weatherproof sealant. Once sealed the gifted item is hand wrapped and mailed off to it's new home!

This fairy door is intended for decorative use and looks amazing placed indoors too!
