Each frog is made in my ceramic studio. They are slip casted into a ceramic mold, cleaned, fired in the kiln and cleaned once more. At this stage the frogs are in bisque and ready to paint. They receive a base coat, dry brushed top coat and lastly the detailed face is set. Every ceramic piece is sealed with a clear varnish to protect the vibrant paint color!
