After careful cleaning and preparation, they are fired in the kiln to become durable bisque. Once cooled and smoothed, the real magic begins: each turtle is individually hand-painted with a vibrant base coat, expertly dry-brushed for depth, and finished with fine detail work on their expressive faces. Finally, they receive a protective clear varnish to shield their cheerful colors from the weather.
Please Note: We recommend bringing your garden turtles inside and storing them during harsh winter weather to ensure they bring joy for many years to come.
